In a rapidly increasing digital world, where digital services are becoming the default option for accessing public services, information, entertainment and each other – it has never been more important for us to ensure everyone can benefit from getting online.
Get Nottinghamshire Connected is the Notts NHS App Digital and Social Inclusion Project. We're working to support the most excluded people across the city and county gain the essential skills and confidence they need to start using technology, and get connected.
We have lots of ways in which we are trying to do this; from our dedicated support line to our local Digital Support Hubs, Digital Champion Network training, local events and much more.
Digital Support Helpline
Whether you’re struggling to get online, need some help with using particular applications, want to get started on the NHS App or access some free training.
We’re here to support you in getting connected.

Digital Support Hubs
In light of the Covid-19 coronavirus outbreak, it is with regret that we have decided to cancel the Nottingham Central Library Digital Support Hub sessions to safeguard our volunteers and visitors we support. This will take effect from Wednesday 18th March and will remain in place until further notice.
Our Digital Support Hubs offer free training and support in a community space where people can learn how to use technology and digital devices through informal learning and guidance from volunteers.
They are places where you can come for support in accessing digital services or you can bring your own digital devices.
It doesn't matter if you've never turned on a computer or if you already use the internet a bit, anyone can use the Digital Support Hub. You can turn up for a quick 5 minute question or stay for the whole two hours.
We have two hubs:
If any of this sounds like something that could interest you, don't be afraid to turn up at one of our sessions.
Digital Ambassadors Network
The Digital Ambassador Network is made up of individuals across many NHS departments across Nottinghamshire that are passionate about championing digital services across the NHS workforce and patients. They wish to help others understand what digital information and services are available to improve the experience of the NHS and help manage their health and wellbeing digitally.
They receive training, certification and a lanyard (to be hung around their neck) so they are equipped and visible to those who need support or have any questions.
